As classroom teachers, we understand the importance of preparation and give serious time and effort to preparation of the learning environment and the lessons that will be given. “To educate the child, we need to modify the adult”. Montessori wrote extensively about the inner preparation of the teacher as involving a fundamental change of outlook. What do we need in order to be able to bring the best to the children and families that we serve?

This summer, nurture the growth of your personal and professional life with the gift of time – to center, to observe, to concentrate, to grow in awareness – in a community of fellow Montessori educators. Join Sister Carolina Gomez del Valle, and MECA, as we create a community, to renew and re-create ourselves, to learn, grow and have fun together.
