Lab Schools
MECA's lab schools are an intregral part
of the teacher preparation program. Each school offers student
teachers an opportunity to apply themselves and their care to educating
children from within the community. The schools are lead by a highly
experienced and knowledgable faculty who ensure that the practicum
experience is both instructive and rewarding. The lab schools also
offer MECA faculty members and students an opportunity to observe
children on an ongoing basis, to inform their research or to explore
their ideas.
